REGULATION: Hidden Hong Kong
ARTICLE 1
Brussels Airport Company NV/SA, with registered office at Topos Merode, Priester Cuypersstraat 3 Rue Abbé Cuypers, 1040 Brussels, Belgium, with company number 0890.082.292 (RPR/RPM Brussels) (‘BAC’) together with Cathay Pacific, with registered office at 8 Scenic Road, Hong Kong International Airport, Hong Kong (China), is organising a contest without purchase obligation, which will start on 01/09/2025 and runs until and including 21/09/2025, 23h59.
ARTICLE 2
Participation in this contest is open to all individuals aged 18 or over, except for staff members of BAC and its partners, advertising agencies engaged by BAC and any other persons who worked on setting up the current contest.
The following persons are also excluded from participating in this contest: family members in the first degree of the persons listed in the previous paragraph, as well as persons residing at the same permanent address as the persons listed in the previous paragraph.
By entering the contest, participants will be deemed to have accepted these contest rules.
ARTICLE 3
For any entry in this contest to be valid, participants must navigate to . On that page, the participant must recognise the landmarks in 6 photographs. At the end, the participant fills in their personal details and answers the tiebreaker question. Additionally, the participant chooses whether they want to be kept up to date with Brussels Airport’s offers and promotions.
ARTICLE 4
A maximum of 2 winners will be selected.
The winner will be selected as follows: the player that recognises the highest number of landmarks, wins a ticket for two, issued by Cathay Pacific. In the case of a tie, the tiebreaker question (‘How many people will have participated in this contest on 21/09/2025 at 23h59?’) will determine the winner of the Cathay Pacific ticket for two. In the event of a tie after the tiebreaker question, the person who participated first (at the earliest moment) will be the winner.
The second prize, a Cathay Pacific goodie bag, will go to the person that has recognised the second highest number of landmarks. In the case of a tie, the tiebreaker question (‘How many people will have participated in this contest on 21/09/2025 at 23h59?’) will determine the winner. In the event of a tie after the tiebreaker question, the person who participated first (at the earliest moment) will be the winner.
Any entry that is incomplete will be excluded from participation. Each participant may only enter the competition once.
The winners will be chosen under the supervision of bailiff Eric De Belder, a judicial officer based in 2200 Herentals, Sint-Jobsstraat 21.
The winners will receive a personal confirmation by email. In the absence of a response to this notification within 30 calendar days, BAC and Cathay Pacific reserve the right to withdraw the prize. If the winner is unable or unwilling to use the prize, the right to the prize is forfeited. BAC and Cathay Pacific are not obliged to allocate the prize to another participant.
ARTICLE 5
The winners can win the following prizes:

Main prize: 2 return tickets (for 2 people) in Economy Class from Brussels Airport to Hong Kong
with Cathay Pacific Airways.
- The tickets can only be redeemed by the named winner. The tickets are not redeemable for cash, non-transferrable, non- endorsable, cannot be rerouted and must be used within validity.

All flights must be redeemed together with both passengers travelling together throughout the
journey:
- The winner must advise travellers’ full names as stated in passports including middle names when booking the flights.
- The winner must provide three possible travel dates, which do not fall under the restricted periods (see below). Please keep in mind that you may need to be flexible with your travel dates, as your preferred dates may not be available.
- Certain travel dates and restrictions apply (e.g., Lunar New Year, Easter, the busy summer period, Christmas, and New Year). Additional restricted travel dates may also apply. The winner will be advised about the exact embargo dates together with the booking information.
- These tickets are not entitled to earn any form of Asia Miles or other frequent flyer mileage and/or Cathay Status Points.
- The flights are valid for travel from 01/11/2025 until 01/11/2026 and must be booked at least one month before intended travel. The return date must fall no later than 01/11/2026.
- Fuel surcharges, taxes and airport charges are included in the prize.
- Access to our lounge is not included.
- The winner and any other accompanying passenger are solely responsible for their own travel and medical insurance, valid passports, airport transfers, any necessary visas and any other relevant travel documentation, costs or requirements associated with their trip.
- The prize ticket holder is on a lower boarding priority than our normal fare paying passengers. If the reserved flight becomes critically full, and/or other serious disruptions occur, there is a possibility that the prize ticket holder will not be accepted on board. In this event, they will not be entitled to any compensation. Our airport staff will then include them on the booking list for the next available Cathay Pacific flight and, pursuant to the EC Regulation 261/2004, Denied Boarding Compensation is not applicable on free of charge or reduced fare tickets.
- If the prize ticket holder has booked additional services for their trip - such as but not limiting to car hire, hotels, transfers, cruise, onward flights – they are responsible for making any necessary changes to those services in case of delay, cancellation or denied boarding of the Cathay Pacific flight. Cathay Pacific will not accept any responsibility for those changes, or any additional expenses incurred.
- Once a booking is confirmed, no amendments to the reservations are permitted. Pursuant to the EU Regulation 261/2004, Denied Boarding Compensation is not applicable on free-of-charge or reduced-fare tickets.
- The prize tickets are valid on Cathay Pacific Airways Limited operating flights only. Joint venture and codeshare services are excluded.
- Upgrade of travel class by use of cash or miles is not permitted.
- The winner, aged at least 18, may bring a minor as a travel companion on the trip, provided they are the parent or legal guardian of the minor and take responsibility for them throughout the entire stay.
- Cathay Pacific will not accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury, or disappointment suffered by any participant entering the promotion.
- Cathay Pacific’s conditions of carriage apply (see https://www.cathaypacific.com/cx/en_BE.html).
- Second prize: a Cathay Pacific goodie bag with an estimated value of €50.
Prizes are not exchangeable, have no cash value, and cannot be transferred to a third party. BAC reserves the right to provide a prize equivalent in value to the stipulated prize.
ARTICLE 6
Each person can only enter the contest once. The same person may not participate with different email addresses. Moreover, only one prize can be awarded per person, (email) address, and IP address. The same person can win the first prize in one of the online contests organised by BAC only once per calendar year.
ARTICLE 7
BAC has the right to, at any time, exclude a person from participation in this contest or any other (future) contests, in the event of a breach of one of the contest rules or (suspected) abuse, fraud or entry into a contest in bad faith. BAC may also do so if the designated winner does not respond to the notification, as stipulated in Article 4.
ARTICLE 8
BAC reserves the right to amend the contest or the procedure in the event of unforeseen circumstances or if circumstances beyond the control of BAC warrant this. BAC cannot be held liable for any interruption, postponement or cancellation of the contest as a result of circumstances beyond its control.
ARTICLE 9
BAC reserves the right to communicate about the contest and its winners, including for marketing purposes.
By entering, participants agree that if they win a prize, their picture, name, and place of residence may be announced on the social media pages, the website, and any other digital or analogue channels operated by BAC.
ARTICLE 10
BAC cannot be held liable for any loss, physical injuries or accidents that could occur because of winning a prize and/or participation in a contest.
BAC cannot be held liable for printing, spelling, typographic or other errors, or technical issues (related to the internet, email, etc.).
ARTICLE 11
Participants give their explicit permission for the processing of the following data by BAC for the admin of this contest: full name, age, email address, personal address and phone number.
If the participant agreed by ticking the box provided for this specific purpose, BAC is allowed to inform them of promotions, offers and contests through its newsletters, for instance.
BAC processes data in compliance with the relevant regulations. By sharing personal data, the participant agrees that BAC will collect and process that data, in accordance with its privacy statement, which can be consulted on the website: https://www.brusselsairport.be/nl/privacy-policy. The personal data will be deleted after the contest unless the participant has stated that they want to receive messages and/or promotions from Brussels Airport.
Participants can consult, alter or delete their data at any time, as well as contest the processing of their personal data. All it takes is sending an email to privacy@brusselsairport.be.
BAC will provide the following personal data of the winner(s) of the contest to Cathay Pacific: full name, age, email address, personal address and telephone number. In that case, both BAC and Cathay Pacific will act as “data controllers”. Cathay Pacific will only use this personal data for the purpose of awarding the prize to the winner(s) and will treat the personal data in accordance with the relevant regulations and its privacy statement, which is available through this website. Cathay Pacific will not use this personal data for any other purposes, including direct marketing.
ARTICLE 12
The mere participation in this contest implies acceptance of the present contest rules without any reservation. No disputes will be accepted concerning the wording of the questions or answers.
ARTICLE 13
These contest rules are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute relating to these contest rules which cannot be solved amicably between the parties shall fall within the exclusive jurisdiction of the Dutch-speaking courts of the judicial district of Brussels, Belgium.
